There is lots of things to do on Tamborine Mountain that do not cost a lot of money.

Here are our top five things to do that are free..

1. Walk in a rainforest amongst the palms and strangler figs. Our favourite is the Knoll circuit (down the end of Long Rd, North Tamborine) where we often see the Albert lyre bird, kookaburras, brush turkeys and small wallabies.

2. Watch the hangliders take off at Main Western Road on the weekends.

3. Stroll around the Tamborine Mtn Showground markets (second Sunday of every month) and enjoy the free entertainment. Starts at 8 am.

4. Watch the sun set from a number of vantage points along Main Western Rd

5. Dip your feet in the pool at the bottom of a waterfall at Cedar Creek falls on Tamborine Mtn Rd. Beautiful walk.
