Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by
placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly. Hot stone massage therapy melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness, increases flexibility, increases circulation and metabolism, and provides relief from pain associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other chronic conditions. This is one of our most popular, decadent and nurturing treatments, especially during cold Adelaide winters. Volcanic stones are used with aromatherapy oils to give you an amazing, pampering and healing massage experience.
- Anti-glycation Vitamin C facial
When there’s too much sugar in your system, sugar molecules attach themselves to proteins, forming new molecules called AGEs (Advanced Glycation End products). These molecules cause surrounding proteins such as collagen and elastin, which are responsible for keeping skin looking plump and youthful, to stiffen. This process is called glycation. In this anti-glycation treatment, pure Vitamin C combined with Ume Extract – a type of Japanese plum – works to inhibit the action of glycation. The Vitamin C works to firm, repair and illuminate your skin in this luxurious treatment, which results in an intense luminosity and firmness.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of our hectic lives, it is often easy to neglect our feet – we spend all day walking around on them, keep themAdelaide Massage
enclosed in shoes all the time, and promptly forget them when we sit down. It is only when we take time away from our busy schedules, that we remember that our feet need some love as well. A highly popular treatment, the hour-long Ripple pedispa indulgence is a wonderful way to treat your neglected and overworked feet to much-deserved pampering. Deeply nourishing and hydrating, this aromatic foot ritual includes a foot soak, an exfoliating foot scrub, a foot massage and a deluxe pedicure. Your feet will thank you for it.
- Microdermabrasion facial
The natural ageing process, combined with environmental factors like stress, smoking and sun exposure, all have a dramatic effect on our skin. Many of us wish for the skin of younger years and it is possible to restore it – simply with a complete facial treatment using the microdermabrasion process, to give skin back its healthy natural glow, clarify the skin, and reduce wrinkles. Using the latest technology, you can now treat yourself to a microdermabrasion treatment that is entirely crystal free, is non-invasive, and which also stimulates circulation and blood flow, thus encouraging collagen and elastin production. The process works by removing dead outer skin layers and unwanted skin cells. This is finished off with a hydrating mask and a relaxing head and neck massage. The result is smooth, fresh and super soft skin, and a wonderfully exfoliating and hydrating experience.
- Hydrotherapy spa treatment
Whether you’re juggling work and family, recovering from a joint or muscle injury, or simply needing to unwind from the day’s stresses, spa hydrotherapy provides both relaxation, healing effects and nourishing rejuvenation. The heat from the warm water improves circulation and speeds recovery in damaged tissue; the buoyancy achieved in the spa reduces effects of pressure on joints and spine; while the massage relieves muscle tension and alleviates stress. In this therapeutic total body wellness experience, the very latest in water therapy technology is used in a hydrotherapy spa to deliver total relaxation and rejuvenation. Allow yourself to drift away as your hydrotherapist soothingly massages your scalp and neck while gentle mist and steam combine with essential oils to cleanse your pores, leaving your entire body feeling refreshed and recharged. A hydrotherapy session can be combined with other spa treatments such as full body exfoliation treatments, facials, or full body massage. Hydrotherapy can relax and ready muscles to receive massage and prepare the skin’s pores to better absorb ingredients that may be used during a facial or body treatment.

- Green coffee body wrap
Wrap yourself in relaxation and emerge renewed, refreshed and rejuvenated, while indulging in a caffeine fix. Starting with a gentle exfoliation and body scrub, your therapist will then apply pure 100% micronized green coffee, naturally rich in chlorogenic acid. Following this you will be wrapped entirely, with your arms at your sides, and then given a soothing head massage while your body soaks up the wrap products under a heated blanket. After the treatment, your body is allowed to cool down slowly, before a soothing lotion is applied. This toning wrap stimulates your body’s ability to break down fat, increase metabolism and eliminate water retention. Coffee smooths and enhances skin tone and texture, visibly reducing dimply areas. The ultimate result is hydrated and rejuvenated skin that feels firmer and younger – and who wouldn’t want that?
