Here are our top five things to do on Mount Tamborine that are free..
1. Walk in a rainforest amongst the palms and stranglerfigs. Our favourite is the Knoll circuit (down the end of Long Rd, North Tamborine) where we often see the Albert lyre bird, kookaburras, brush turkeys and small wallabies.
2. Watch the hangliders take off at Main Western Road on the weekends.
3. Stroll around the Tamborine Mt Show ground markets(second Sunday of every month) and enjoy the free entertainment. Starts at 8 am. Markets on Tamborine Mountain
4. Watch the sun set from a number of vantage points along Main Western Rd
5. Dip your feet in the pool at the bottom of a waterfall at Cedar Creek falls on Tamborine Mt Rd. Beautiful walk.

1. Enjoy a wine tasting a one of the many wineries on Tamborine Mountain. Often for only a small charge that is refunded if you purchase a bottle.

4. Grab some local produce at the road side stalls, Mt Tamborine markets food producers markets at the show grounds (every Sunday morning) or other food suppliers on the mountain.
