What do I wear during a couples massage?
Most clients will wear their underwear. The therapist will have you draped with towels the whole massage, and only remove the part of the towel for the body part being massaged. Sometimes it can be more comfortable to wear a robe. The best part of us coming to you is that you can be as relaxed as you like and don't have to fully dress after. We will pack up and leave quickly after your massages. We suggest you have something comfortable to wear after your couples massage.
Can I get a couples massage near me?
A mobile couples massage is a good option for those who live or are staying in remote regions, where your choice of day spas is limited. Having a massage in home will also mean you and your partner don’t have to dress and drive afterwards. For your couples massage, we can send two therapists for you to have your massages side by side, or we are able to do them with one therapist, one after the other.
We work over a wide range of regions including the Gold Coast, Tamborine Mountain, Scenic Rim and Gold Coast Hinterland, Brisbane and Northern Rivers NSW from the border, Kingscliff to Byron Bay.
What to expect during a couples massage?
Your therapist or therapists will set up professional massage tables quickly. You don't have to lift a finger, we will do everything, even move furniture to make the space more comfortable for you. We will consult with you as to the type of massage you would like, firmness and pressure, and which parts of your body you would like to concentrate on, your health history, any allergies or sensitivity especially to essential oils, and generally all the information we need to make your massage a great one.
If you have booked two therapists for your couples massage, we make sure we show up together, and will work together to synchronise start and finish times for your massage.
If you have booked a spa package, they will include the facial and exfoliation, just let your therapists know if you would like to leave any of these out. Of course, each person in the couples massage can have their treatment personalised to them, you don't have to have the same treatments or spa package. Our main aim is to personalize your massage and that you are happy. The best couples massage means that you both receive exactly the massage and day spa treatment you would like.
What happens after your massage?
After the massage you may feel sleepy and relaxed, so it's best not to plan anything straight after. Give yourselves some time to soak in the massage afterglow, relax and reconnect with each other. It is always a good idea to drink some water as a massage will dehydrate your body.
We both want different massage as part of our couples massage, is this possible?
Sure it is, you can either choose to have the same package. Or perhaps your partner just wants a one-hour massage, but you would like the two-hour day spa package. We can certainly do that! Just let us know at the time of booking.
Do we have to be a romantic couple to enjoy a couples massage?
No, couples massages are not exclusively for romantic partners. They are also suitable for friends, family members, or anyone looking to share a relaxing experience with someone special. We often do Mother-Daughter spa days and massages for good friends away for the weekend. The purpose is to enjoy the massage together and bond through a shared wellness activity.
Can you send more than one therapist for our massages?
This is possible in some of our regions to book two therapists for your couples massage, please inquire. To book two therapists, there needs to be a minimum booking of two hours for each person. Alternatively, for shorter treatments, we can do them one after the other with one therapist.
How far ahead do we need to book?
Please give us as much notice as possible, especially if you would like to book on the weekend or would like two therapists. The more notice we receive the easier it will be for us to be there at your preferred time and date. As we only hire the very best therapists, especially on Tamborine Mountain, we are busy and can get booked out. Planning ahead is always a great option so you aren't disappointed. Thanks!
How much does a couples massage cost?
Our couples massages start from $70 per person and go right up to $390 per person for our 3 hour couples day spa packages. All of our menu and pricing is here or please ask us! We are happy to help you receive exactly the treatment that suits you both.
