Please also ensure you let your therapist know of any medical or health conditions, injuries, sprains or anything else that maybe affected by your massage.
Please note that by booking with Ripple Massage, you agree to the following.
Each treatment includes a brief consultation, and all day spa treatments.
I understand that the massage therapist does not diagnose illness, disease or any other physical or mental disorder, does not prescribe medical treatment and does not perform spinal manipulations. It has been made clear to me that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment and that it is recommended that I see a physician for any physical ailment that I may have.
Because a massage therapist must be aware of all past and present physical conditions, I take it upon myself to keep the massage therapist updated on my physical health, any medical or health conditions or allergies. I also understand that massage therapy may produce side effects such as muscle soreness, mild bruising, increased awareness of areas of pain and light-headedness amongst other possible temporary outcomes.
I understand and agree that I will not hold the therapist responsible for any pain or discomfort experienced during or after the session, provided the therapy was conducted with due care and skill and in accordance with the agreed treatment, and that I am able to stop or modify the treatment at any time.
I release and discharge the therapist from any and all claims or liabilities arising from the therapy received, except for cases involving active or passive negligence on the part of the therapist under Australian law.
