Where we found it : Hoi An, Vietnam
Mick Jagger ate here last year?
I was sitting in a small restaurant in Hoi An, Vietnam, when the waiter told me of the celebrity that had been ensconced in the same chair I was.
We had dropped in for some lunch after a day of riding bikes and shopping. Afterwards it was time to find a spa and do some work.
Yes, part of my job at Ripple is to find, and try out, new massages.
No you can’t have my job *smile*
So I asked the waiter, “If Mick Jagger was going to get a massage, where would he go?”
An address, scratched on the back of an old menu, led me to a new day spa, just out of town.
And it was there that I discovered the Vietnamese Four Hands massage. I suppose if you are really going to be decadent, then four hands are better than two.
Just magic. While the knots were being worked out of my back, my legs were soaked with oil, and long gliding arm strokes got rid of a couple of weeks of walking.
There really is nothing like having two therapists devoted to you for a couple of hours. And mixed in with a couple of different facials and exfoliation, I felt like a million dollars.
I’m not sure if Mick ever got a massage in Vietnam, but the one I had was too good to leave behind, so I brought it back to Ripple.
Another successful day at the office ?
